De-Worming Protocols for Geldings, Stallions & Non-pregnant Mares

There are different de-worming protocols available:

• Have a routine fecal examination done every 2-3 months and tailor your horses de-worming schedule according to the fecal exam results.

• De-worm every 2-3 months, rotating between different types of de-worming products throughout the year.

• Feeding daily de-wormer (e.g. Strongid C) is an excellent means of parasite control.

De-worm in the fall consistently with an Ivermectin, Ivermectin/Praziquantel product or with a Moxidectin, Moxidectin/Praziquantel product.
