
Dr. Darcey Butts is a 1984 graduate of Iowa State University. Dr. Butts joined the Glenwood Veterinary Clinic following graduation. Dr. Butts has served as the Mills County Fair veterinarian since about 1993. Darcey and his wife are active members of the Mineola Lutheran Church, where Jacque teaches Sunday School. Dr. Butts is also a member of the Glenwood Lions Club and Southwest Iowa Sportsman Club, where he serves as a hunter safety instructor. Dr Butts is an avid outdoorsman and enjoys the activities of the Keg Creek Antique Tractor Club.

Dr. Michael Joyce is a 1994 graduate of Kansas State University College of Veterinary Medicine where he received the Senior Student Awards for Veterinary Radiology and Veterinary Surgery. Following graduation, he practiced in Auburn, Nebraska in a mixed animal practice until the fall of 2000. While in Auburn, Dr. Joyce served on the Auburn Volunteer Fire Department and Auburn Rescue Squad. From the fall of 2000 until joining the Glenwood Veterinary Clinic in April of 2005, he practiced in Beatrice, Nebraska as a solo practitioner. During his time in Beatrice, Dr. Joyce served on the Board of Directors of the Gage County Chapter of the American Red Cross, including Chapter Chair. Dr. Joyce currently serves on the Mission Outreach Committee at Grace United Methodist Church and is a member of Men of Grace. Dr. Joyce has been to Bolivia representing Christian Veterinary Mission.

Dr. William Rishel graduated from the Kansas State College of Veterinary Medicine in 1973. He has been practicing in Glenwood for 36 years. He is a member of the American Association of Equine Practitioners and The Society of Theriogenology . Dr. Rishel works on all species, but has a special interest in small animal and equine. He and his wife Marilyn have two children, April and Andrew. April and her husband Mike have a son, Noah. Dr. Rishel enjoys all of God's creation. Bill and Marilyn enjoy hiking, camping, riding horses, and traveling. He has a special interest in the

Dr. Jeff Rodgers graduated from Kansas State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 1992. The Valentine, Nebraska native did an internship in equine medicine and surgery in Cypress, California. He then spent 12 years in mixed animal practice in north central North Dakota. His professional interests include companion animal surgery and medicine and equine dentistry and lameness. When not hunting and fishing, Dr. Rodgers can be found with a wrench in has hand tinkering around his shop.

Dr. Sue Walters is a 1995 graduate of Kansas State University College of Veterinary Medicine. Following graduation, she came to Glenwood and has been here ever since. Dr. Walters has a special interest in dentistry and ultrasound. The Walters family is actively involved at Christ Community Church in Omaha serving in the Step Out Ministry. She has also served with the
Salvation Army Night Watch. The Walters family enjoys sports, playing volleyball year round and sand volleyball in the summer.
She is seen here with husband Dave and daughter Emily and their two dogs, Sully and Scooter. Herbie the rooster represents the backyard flock of chickens that the Walters maintain. Not pictured are the family's felines, LaVerne, Shirley and Simon.
